SAACIP LOGO : INTERPRETATION

The logo was designed by Albert Cruywagen (former SAACIP President) and introduced to the South African business community during a breakfast meeting on 12 April 2002 in Pretoria. The event was sponsored by the SAS Institute.

The SAACIP logo should be interpreted as follows:

Logo Elements:

  1. Design grid - indicating planning, structure and a single point of departure

  2. Double sided - multi-directional arrow consisting of an incomplete and complete half - representing:

    • effort (cutting deep, penetrating, seeking the truth)
    • striving upward, motivating, professional
    • moving from the incomplete to the complete

  3. Wording (Font/Size) - simple yet bold and decisive.

  4. Colours

    • Dark Grey - tradition, time-honoured, long-established
    • Royal Blue - contrast, perfection, professional
